Pol Houtkamp from Lee Jeans (NL) is besides a big denim addict a huge fan of the country life of France. Especially the authentic way of making wine is one of his favourite highlights from this beautiful country. That’s how he came up with the super cool idea to give one of these wine growers a dry Lee Jeans 101 Z from 1966, which he could wear during his daily wine job. The wine grower promised to give the jean back after a couple of years. Now after more than 4 years of intensive wear Pol got his jean back and result is one of the best! The wine grower isn’t someone who’s into fashion, so he used the jean like they did in the past. He worn he jean during his job, get dirty, washed it, put it on, do his job, dirty, washed it and so on…No rules that you don’t may wash your jean for at least 6-8 months. The result speaks for it self. As the jean was too long for the wearer he folded it to the inside, instead of turning it up. These different effects of blue color shades are one of my personal highlights of this worn-out Lee denim!
